GREAT TASTE AWARDS 2020 ANOTHER STAR!

We are very pleased to announce we have been awarded another one star at The Great Taste Awards, this time for our Cherry and Chestnut Smoked Cheddar!

WE’RE BACK!

Following a very busy Xmas period we have had a much needed rest and will return at the first Frome Independent of the year on Sunday 1st March. If you’ve never been to this remarkable market, do come down and savour the atmosphere, food and music, and of course come and say hello and get your smoked goods. We will have all our usual goodies, and maybe some new ones too!

TWO NEW EVENTS ANNOUNCED FOR MARCH AND MAY 2019

We are very excited to be appearing at two food festivals over the next couple of months. Firstly, we have been invited to part of the inaugural Savour the Flavour event in Wincanton on 30th March. Alongside food stall from artisan and established food producers from Dorset and Somerset, there are a range of events and entertainment throughout the town.

On Friday May 3rd we will be part of THE SOMERSET COLLECTIVE SUMMER SALE At The Chapel, Bruton. This promises to be a great day and we hope to see you at this iconic venue in what has become the most talked about town in the south west.

SOMERSET LIFE FEATURE

Following a hectic Christmas period, we are enjoying some quiet time, developing more products and enhancing our website, which will very soon feature an online shop. We are thrilled to be featured in the February edition of Somerset Life, out in shops in mid-January. We had a great couple of days putting our story together, with stunning photography from Neil White and food styling by Helen Upshall. Please do grab a copy and let us know what you think!

NEW STOCKISTS ANNOUNCED

We are very pleased to be working with some new shops who will be supplying our goods this autumn and Christmas (and hopefully for a long time after!)

Firstly, The Hive Beach Cafe https://www.hivebeachcafe.co.uk which as an incredible cafe, restaurant and shop located right on the beach at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast., with far reaching views across Lyme Bay and Chesil Beach.

We are also being stocked in some other regional shops including The Wellow Parlour Shop just outside Bath http://wellowparlourshop.co.uk, Fromie https://fromie.co.uk/ unsurprisingly in Frome! and also our local gem Mes Amis, a sublime cafe in Beckington https://www.mesamiscafedeli.co.uk

TWO NEW CHRISTMAS MARKETS ANNOUNCED

We are very excited to be part of both the Black Swan Arts Christmas Market on 22nd November and also the Catherine Hill pop-Up Christmas Market on Saturday 15th December. WELLS FOOD FESTIVAL AWARD BONANZA 

We are very proud to have been awarded two awards at The Wells Food Festival in October 2018. Not only were we awarded ‘Best new start-up”, we also picked up ‘Best in show’. Thanks to all the staff, judges, fellow stall-holders and especially the public who braved the elements, for all your support.

OUR FOUNDER OLIVER GRADUATES FROM THE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS

We were thrilled to attend the graduation ceremony for the School of Social Entrepreneurs Bristol Start-Up last week to see our founder Oliver become a fellow of SSE. It was a truly inspiring event, with some incredible social entrepreneurs graduating alongside Oliver. The award was presented by Deputy Mayor of Bristol, Asher Craig.
